Please provide overall feedback (at least one paragraph): It was great meeting David today. The whole interview was very positive; I thought he did an excellent job from start to finish. We started just chatting about his experiences at the Bootcamp; it was apparent early on that his previous career learning new spoken languages helped him build some foundational skills in perseverance and persistence. He could navigate the technical concepts really well especially when trying to talk through concepts he's learned, projects he's worked on, and what to focus on after the Bootcamp. He did really well on the coding portion and demonstrated strong fundamentals in JS and React. He talked through the problem and solutions with me before writing any code which I encourage him to continue to do in his future interviews. He solved the problems with relative ease and didn't need much of my help at all. He's also talked about how he's continuing to improve and practices writing leetcode in his free time which I think will be huge when it comes to his other interviews. Although he wasn't able to solve the JS promises problem, he should know they are pretty tricky but understanding them will give him a leg up, so I encourage him to learn them. Overall though, I would recommend David as a Jr software engineer.
